Funcom has provided the Testlive Community with an invite-only forum which facilitates communication and discussion between the Testlive Community and Funcom. The social guidelines are in full effect for this forum. Please take special note of the following paragraph:

Refrain from sending statements that could be perceived as offensive or hurtful against anybody, including people, web sites, countries, and companies and their employees. Postings like this will be deleted.


How To Gain Access

The Test Server Community forum is invite-only. In order to gain access to the private forums, you must have/do the following:
1. Have at least one character tracked in the Testlive Tracking System, that is over level 25.
2. Have at least 50 in-game hours combined on all tracked characters.
3. Have earned a total of at least 35 Test Points.

Once you meet the requirements, you need to:
1. Log in game on one of your tracked characters.
2. Type /tell testlivebot forum access Doing this will verify if you meet the requirements.
3. Follow the instructions in the reply.

After that, once a week a report will be sent forward to Funcom with a list of those who followed step 3, and those individuals will be invited to the forums soon after.

NOTE: To be able to view the Test Server Community forum after you have been given access, you must log into the Anarchy Online Bulletin Board forums to be able to see the Test Server Community forum. To keep from having to log in each time you go to the AO Forums, go to your User Control Panel Options and select 'Yes" for the following two options: Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies) and Browse board with cookies?


Intended Usage of Subforums

Each subforum in the Test Server Community forum serves a specific purpose. Outlined below is information on each subforum. Please make sure you post in the correct subforum, to ensure the Test Server Community forum remains an organized and effective resource for both the Testlive Community and Funcom.

FC Announcements and Build Notes
This subforum is used for patch notes and other announcements from Funcom.

Test Discussions
Test and test server related issues can be discussed in this forum.

Test-Live Events
Test-Live Events forum is to be used specifically for announcing test requests and scheduled testing events by Funcom, ARK-Bughunters, and the Test Community.

Off-topic Chat
Please use this forum for all non-testing/bug reporting discussion, and social Test Community related topics.

Bug Reports - xxx
The 'Bug Report - xxx' forums are to be used for posting and discussing issues not specific to the latest build cycle (eg. Issues which are not specifically mentioned in the patch notes for the latest build cycle).

  • Bug Reports - Combat
    Combat bugs are bugs that affect the fighting ability of avatars in the game. A combat bug could be that brawl and the other special attacks stop working or stop recycling.

  • Bug Reports - Experience, Shadowknowledge and Faction
    Issues pertaining to experience and shadowknowledge gains, losses and other bugs. Also pertains to issues with the Faction system.

  • Bug Reports - Items & Equipment
    Items that are bugged some how. It can be stims not working, to weapons or any thing else that is not a trade skill process.

  • Bug Reports - Missions, Quests and Dungeons
    Mission doors, mission items, and general bugs inside the missions and static dungeons. Bugs with quests, quest dialog, issues with item hand-in for quests, and so forth.

  • Bug Reports - Nano Programs
    Problems with nano formulas not working, like giving the wrong buff or effects, should go into this category.

  • Bug Reports - NPCs and Monsters
    Problems with monsters and NPCs. If they don't respond or respond wrong or if the monsters do far too little or far too much damage or something else similar.

  • Bug Reports - Organizations
    Bugs regarding organizations like bank issues and problems with creating organizations and organizational commands.

  • Bug Reports - Perks, Skills and Abilities
    Bugs pertaining to the Perk System, and the Skills and Abilities System.

  • Bug Reports - Pets and Pathing
    Bugs with pets. Types of bugs would be pets not working, not listening to commands or issues with pet pathing.

  • Bug Reports - Technical
    Bugs that pertain to the more technical aspects of the game. Such issues can be lag, server synch issues, server feedback errors and errors pertaining to the F10/Options menus.

  • Bug Reports - Tradeskills
    Problems with trade skills; items not combining as they should or not giving the right results when combined.

  • Bug Reports - User Interface (GUI)
    This is a bug that manifests itself in the interface, like the compass is not moving or spinning all the time or your items in the inventory are randomly being changed around or items dropping from the quick bar.

  • Bug Reports - World Design
    This is graphical bugs in the geometry. Bushes flying in the air or even mountains, trees, houses, statues, pyramids. Anything that should be placed on the ground or objects in a spot where they shouldn't be. Collision issues like being able to walk through a structure or hillside.

  • Bug Reports - Other
    "Other" bugs is probably the hardest category because many can go in to this one and many can not. As a ground rule if it does not fit in any of the others categories than the category should be put as Other. If you are in doubt on where the bug may belong, this is the place.

Patch Build Subforum
The build cycle specific forums (i.e 15.4) are to be used only for discussing changes/additions/test results specific to that build (eg. Issues which are specifically mentioned in the patch notes for that build cycle).
